Born in Bojnourd, Iran, in 1988, Morteza Khosravi is an influential artist with a unique perspective on the intersection of history and art. With a degree in painting from Marlik Noshahr University in 2012, his international acclaim has been solidified through solo and group exhibitions at distinguished venues such as the Mena Art Fair in Paris, Artfair Beirut, the Minus 40 at the Palazzo Bastogi Museum in Florence, and Tyrgan Toronto. Currently, he splits his time between the vibrant art scenes of Tehran and Paris, drawing inspiration from diverse cultural landscapes for his new collection.
Khosravi holds an esteemed position in the Middle East and in Europe. He is an honorary member at the Institute of Visual Arts Development in Iran. Critics mark his artistic journey by two acclaimed collections: "Ghosts Wandering in History" and the "Salò Collection".

The "Salò Collection," inspired by Pier Paolo Pasolini's film and the stories of Polish immigrants in Iran during World War II, paints a poignant ode to the sorrowful lives depicted in Pasolini's film. Drawing parallels between Dante's "Divine Comedy" and Marquis de Sade's novel, his bold brushstrokes and vivid imagery delve into the intricacies of cultural identity, becoming a powerful lens through which to examine its multifaceted layers.
